The Regional Chief of Emergency Services is the senior operational leader for the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority (BRFA), responsible for shaping the delivery of emergency services across a diverse and growing region. This role offers a rare opportunity to lead a growing regional authority at a pivotal time—helping define how emergency services are delivered today and into the future. It is an ideal position for a respected emergency services leader who values collaboration, accountability, and meaningful public service.
The BRFA serves an expansive region with ten fire stations strategically located throughout the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87, including Goodridge, Glendon, Iron River, Lacorey, Bonnyville, Ardmore, Fort Kent, Cold Lake and Cherry Grove. The BRFA provides ALS EMS services, under contract to EHS-Alberta to the region and operates a regional 911 Communications Center to several municipalities in north-central Alberta. With modern, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and a progressive management approach, BRFA is committed to growth and service excellence.
This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found. We appreciate the interest of all applicants; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.
